Plans and Next Steps:

1. Development of a hypertension working group (link to webpage coming soon)
   • Being one of the most prevalent yet intractable conditions afflicting batey residents, hypertension is a chronic disease that will require a significant collaboration between providers and the development of community-driven systems of care. For this reason, treating this important chronic disease will serve as a starting-point for our collaborative efforts.
   • If you woulld like to join this working group, please let us know!
   • We hope to establish more working groups in the future, but this will be the first, so stay tuned
2. Plan for a bi-monthly conference calls
   • We will have single-topic teleconference discussions, starting in May 2014 with a presentation from the Hypertension Working Group
3. 2015 Batey Medicine Symposium
   • The 2014 edition was such a success, we think it should be a regular event! We hope to see it grow and invite anyone and everyone to participate!
   • If you are interesting in hosting, planning, or helping out in the development of this meeting just let us know!
